Question: In Genesis, what is the difference between the “tree of life” and the “tree of the knowledge of good and evil”?
The “tree of life”, is what all humans are excluded from, because of the actions of Eve and Adam! However; those who accept the “gift of eternal Life” offered by Almighty God via Christ Jesus; can regain what was lost by Eve and Adam.
The “tree of the knowledge of good and evil” is what we inherit from Eve and Adam; and what makes us susceptible to sin and sinning; which is the reason for the Sacrificial Death of Jesus; who became the “propitiation” for us!
For “God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son; that all who believe in Him shall not perish but have Eternal Life”; John 3:16! (This is linked to the the tree of knowledge of good of evil).
